We Canadians have a wonderful opportunity to stand up for what is good and wholesome for our great country. Canada is the best nation in the whole world and I for one want to keep it that way. Canadians who love their country MUST get out and vote with their conscience this time. We have seen political leaders force the members of their own party to vote for things that are totally wrong and corrupt. The party whip comes out and whips everybody into shape. That’s sick. When people are threatened into silence, democracy has gone out the window. The political party in power setup a sneaky, tricky vote on same sex marriage knowing they had to sneak it past the opposition at an opportune time when it was least expected, while the party whip gagged any one of that party that wanted to exercise their democratic right and vote their conscience. Oh Canada, we stand on guard for thee should be your plea on voting day this Monday the 23rd.
Many veterans were asked to lay down their lives for this great Country. They must ask themselves is this the Canada I bled to defend. Who’s rights are we protecting anyways. Definitely not the unborn child that has become an inconvenience to a misinformed mom and then aborted. Definitely not the upright citizen who sees the same thug that robbed them back out on the streets in just a few days. Definitely not the low income Canadian or farmer who has no relief for the high cost of living. All the while our Canadian Bill of Rights states "The Parliament of Canada affirming that the Canadian Nation is founded upon principles that acknowledge the supremacy of God, the dignity and worth of the human person and the position of the family in a society of free men and free institutions; Affirming also that men and institutions remain free only when freedom is founded upon respect for moral and spiritual values and the rule of law; And being desirous of enshrining these principles and the human rights and fundamental freedoms derived from them in a Bill of Rights which shall reflect the respect of Parliament for its constitutional authority and which shall ensure the protection of these rights and freedoms in Canada." Under the Bill of Rights it also states… "The right of the individual to life, liberty, security of person and enjoyment of property and the right not to be deprived thereof except by due process of law; … The right to equality and protection of the law… freedom of religion, speech, assembly and association…" All of the freedoms we enjoy were entrenched with Godly principles by Godly men who saw great things for this Nation and the people therein. Even our flag was carefully chosen. The leaf represents healing to every heart at home in Canada, and then healing flowing from our borders to other nations. The colour of our flag, red, for the blood of Jesus, while the white speaks of purity and right standing with our maker. Now it’s your turn to make your mark for this country. Vote your conscience and the right party will win and steer us to a healthy, prosperous future.
